Details High and Low

Take Day 8 to clean all things high and low. These items are often overlooked when living in a home, but Buyers with an eye for detail will be taking mental notes. Get out the step stool and the knee pads.

• Sweep or Vacuum the ceiling and corners of rooms for cobwebs and clean up the dingy dust bunnies around the air vent

• Disassemble your ceiling fans and clean the paddles

• Wipe down the Crown Molding and Baseboards - especially if they have an intricate or fluted design - they are a magnet for dust, dirt and scuffs. Magical Erasers work well on these areas

• Doors and Door frames

• And if you didn't tackle wiping out all the cabinet and drawer space you cleaned out of Day 3, do it now. This is a "biggie" for a lot of buyers
