Make your bathrooms Sparkle
Bathrooms are one of the most important areas in the home. Again, whether big or small, make them shine!
If you have loads of lotions, shampoos and beauty products, invest in a couple plastic organizers and store everything under the sink...not on it. Make your bathroom fixtures and mirrors sparkle, free of gunk and hard water spots.
Referring back to depersonalizing, check your shower curtains (if applicable). Fun, bold shower curtains may express your (or your child's) personality, but they never photograph well and can overpower the room. Toss or pack that wacky curtain and grab a neutral/white one on your next Target run.
Whether you choose to keep a towel or two out, a box of tissues or bath mat, remember our goal is to showcase the space on a neutral pallet.
On that note, check for drips and smells. If the faucet drips a little, call the handyman or plumber. It's usually a quick and easy fix. Check the bathroom for wet, mildew-y smells and remediate immediately. Remove trash daily and keep the toilet lids down while the house is being shown!!
